Express Employment Professionals in Warren is seeking an experienced Welder for our valued client in Vienna, Ohio.


Pay: $19.00-$23.00 per hour (based on experience)


Shift: 1st 7 am- 3:30 pm


Primary Duties:


  • Operate various hand and power tools including but not limited to tape, string line square, level, saws, grinders, drills, welders, and overhead cranes.
  • Must be able to read and fully comprehend blueprints, bill of materials, customer specifications, weld procedures, and written instructions.
  • Will maintain a clean and safe working area & support a philosophy of zero accidents by following all applicable safety procedures and maintaining equipment to operate safely.
  • Must pass 100% x-ray jobs with a 99% pass rate.
  • Can make RT and UT weld repairs.
  • Can set up and run 3G - GM14W and or 3G - FC8.
  • Is capable & able to execute weld procedures to meet code and customer specifications while adhering to hours allocated to jobs.

ISO/Quality:


  • Adhere to applicable procedures as defined in the SMI Quality System.
  • Maintain documents according to QMPs (if required)

Required knowledge, education & skills:


  • Education: High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Certification/Licensure: Successful completion of internal welding certification
  • Experience:
    • 5
      years experience fabricating ASME code products required.
    • Experience with GMAW, FCAW, SMAW, GTAW, and SAW welding processes.
    • Good oral and written communication skills, time management, and organizational skills.
    • Strong technical aptitude with good problem-solving skills.
